At Monroe Family Orchards, we sell the Brooks variety of cherries, a large sweet cherry developed by the University of California. It has a nice sweet taste even when it has just turned pink, and grows sweeter as it turns to a dark red color.
We typically start cherry harvest around the end of April or the beginning of May. Cherry season can be as little as a week or as long as two weeks. Some days we sell out as early as 1:00 or 2:00, so come by early when the stand is open to pick up a basket or a box of delicious, sweet cherries.*
We suggest you call us around the first week of May to find out when our stand on Baldwin Rd. will open.
*Our cherries are sold by volume, NOT by weight.
We do not ship. We do not allow u-pick.
